Job Title: Quality Analyst – FMCG Industry

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Reports To: Quality Manager / Plant Head / QA Head Location: GANGA ROLLER FLOUR MILLS PVT LTD Job Summary: The Quality Analyst ensures that all FMCG products (food, beverages, personal care, or household items) meet defined quality and safety standards before reaching consumers. The role involves continuous monitoring of production processes, conducting tests, analyzing data, and coordinating with production teams to maintain compliance with company and regulatory standards (like FSSAI, ISO, GMP, HACCP, etc.). Key Responsibilities: 1. Quality Control & Testing  Conduct routine inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.  Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests (depending on product type).  Ensure packaging materials meet required specifications and shelf-life standards.  Monitor product sensory qualities — taste, color, odor, texture, etc. 2. Process Monitoring  Observe and record production processes to identify deviations from quality standards.  Ensure hygiene and sanitation SOPs are followed on the production floor.  Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) where deviations occur. 3. Documentation & Compliance  Maintain accurate quality records, test reports, and batch documentation.  Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.  Ensure compliance with internal standards, FSSAI, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, etc.  Support internal and external audits, including customer or regulatory audits. Skills & Competencies:  Strong knowledge of FMCG quality systems and production processes.  Familiarity with lab instruments (pH meter, moisture analyzer, viscometer, etc.).  Understanding of food safety laws and labeling regulations.  Analytical thinking and attention to detail.  Effective communication and documentation skills.  Problem-solving and teamwork abilities. Educational Qualifications:  Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related discipline.  Certification in Quality Management Systems, HACCP, or ISO 22000 is a plus.
