Job Title: Brand & Creative Strategist

Location: South Mumbai

Department: Corporate Marketing & Communications

Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer / Head of Brand


Role Overview

We are seeking a Brand & Creative Strategist who can seamlessly blend strategic insight with creative leadership. This role is ideal for someone who can think like an MBA but create like a designer, driving integrated brand strategies, shaping compelling storytelling, and ensuring consistent brand presence across all touchpoints.

The position requires strategic business understanding, creative fluency, and hands-on leadership to deliver campaigns, brand narratives, and corporate communications that resonate with B2B audiences and prepare the company for IPO visibility.


Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Positioning

  1. Define, refine, and uphold the company’s brand identity, positioning, and tone of voice.
  2. Ensure consistency of brand expression across all internal and external channels.
  3. Develop long-term strategies to enhance brand visibility, relevance, and recall.

Creative Direction & Campaign Leadership

  1. Lead ideation and development of multi-channel campaigns — digital, social, print, TV, and experiential.
  2. Collaborate with creative and media agencies to translate strategy into compelling execution.
  3. Review creative concepts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and brand aesthetics.

Integrated Marketing & Communication

  1. Design and implement annual brand and communication calendars aligned with business goals.
  2. Build integrated plans across owned, earned, and paid media.
  3. Align internal communications and employee engagement with the brand narrative.

Stakeholder & Agency Management

  1. Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Sales, HR, CSR, PR) to maintain unified messaging.
  2. Manage external agencies, budgets, timelines, and quality of outputs.
  3. Present campaign concepts and brand performance insights to leadership.

Innovation & Market Insights

  1. Leverage consumer insights, analytics, and competitive research to inform creative strategy.
  2. Identify emerging trends and cultural movements to keep the brand contemporary.
  3. Drive experimentation in storytelling and creative formats.


Qualifications & Experience

Education

  1. Graduation or post-graduation from a top-tier institute in Marketing, Design, or Communications. Examples include:
  2. India: MICA, IIM, ISB, NID, Srishti, FMS, XLRI
  3. International: Parsons, SCAD, LBS, INSEAD, Central Saint Martins
  4. Preferred Educational Combinations:
  5. B.Des (Design/Visual Communication) + MBA (Marketing/Brand Strategy)
  6. BA in Advertising/Communication Design + PGDM/MBA in Marketing/Branding
  7. MBA (Marketing) + Certification in Design Thinking, Creative Strategy, or Brand Design

Experience

  1. 8–12 years in brand strategy, creative leadership, or integrated marketing, ideally in corporate or consumer brands.
  2. Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and corporate branding initiatives.
  3. Exposure to agency collaboration, brand launches, corporate films, or identity projects.

Skills & Competencies

  1. Strong strategic thinking with creative instincts and design sensibility.
  2. Hands-on understanding of creative processes and tools (Adobe Creative Suite familiarity is a plus).
  3. Exceptional storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  5. Understanding of digital, social, print, PR, and experiential media ecosystems.
  6. Strong project management and organizational abilities.
